Air show this weekend. The Thunderbirds have have been practicing all day right above my neighborhood! They’re so amazing.

Got the keys to our new beach condo today. Escrow closes on Monday. Weird how life changes ( hopefully always for the better ). Who would have thought I’d retire at 58 and buy a beach condo at 59?

Not me.

30 mile ride, nice lunch, jacuzzi on the roof of our building and got the keys to our new home, small as it may be. Great day today.

Thank you so much! I didn’t realize how much I’d hate being a renter. So glad my wife and I were able to buy a small place in the building we love, in the area we love. We are truly blessed to be able to do this.

Congrats Steve. We do indeed live in a pretty sweet spot.

Hope to be in your shoes one day as a buyer and not a renter

Hottdamm that's a pretty bike and sweet looking ride. Congrats on the speedy recovery. If I ever break my collarbone, I hope it's between November and February

How is it possible that the last time i posted here was practically a year ago? where does the time go?

anyway, feeling the positive vibes on this lovely Friday. It's starting to feel a bit fall-ish out and should be a nice weekend. got some good riding planned along with some other fun outdoor stuff.

apple picking / pumpkin picking soon. lots to look forward to in my favorite season.

get out and do stuff this weekend team!

Anniversary dinner with my wife tonight, long hike with her tomorrow. So no cycling those two days, but for good reasons.

Long ride Sunday, in our blessedly non-normal "fall" weather here in CA. Normally September is one of our hottest months, but this year we've only gotten into the mid-eighties most days and mornings and evenings have been cool. So nice.
