Good racing though for the stage--lots of interest in getting into a break. lots of fast riding early which split the peloton--and the groupetto went backwards like someone threw anchors off their bikes.
Sky did not feel it necessary to chase down the break and beat it into the ground--or maybe they weren't able to. I had hoped that Rafal Maka was good for it, but it was not to be. |
