I'll be working on my fourth consecutive year. Since the weather doesn't usually* present much challenge, I try to add my own element to accentuate it. This year that will mean one or more of: 500 miles, 100 ft of elevation per mile, and/or a longer ride than I've done previously. Given that I still have previous roundels lying around, last year I opted for the digital version -- makes a nice Apple Watch face.

*Below is a photo from one of the F500 group rides we organized last year. The route was to take us up the road you see in the background (Angeles Forest), but there was a lot of ice on that section and I did not want to risk it so we turned around.

What's Rapha giving out to get us to help them with their PR/Marketing department?

As a reward, they're giving you the privilege of purchasing items in their Festive 500 Collection.

Two nice alloooominati builds there - Bowman makes a nice bike, atmo.

If I lived in LA, no brainer on doing this. Here, I'll just ride as much as I can... Festive 500min at least.

Any other year I’d say “come on down, we’ll put you up”. Alas 2020.

I'll keep it in mind for next year. My dream vacation is a 28ft Sprinter van parked somewhere around Malibu, with unlimited time, coffee, and burritos.

Yeah, I'm flying solo in SoCal. Yolo. I've never done it, mainly because I've had family responsibilities and travel.

It's a good way to send 2020 into the books.

How did everyone do?

I got to 355k, riding 7 of 8 days, mostly inside. I aimed to ride every day for a bit but not a ton, and it mostly worked out that way.

Kudos in advance to all.
