HED Ardennes to i9 ceramic hubs

Listing for a friend. Here are the details!

HED Ardennes black
Rims laced to i9 ceramics/ custom black end caps.

These can only be purchased as a wheel set with the HED hubs which were cut out and re-laced with
i9s and Sapim CX rays.

Only two sets on the planet I’m sure and I own the other set!

Probably the best foul weather rim brake wheel you will ever ride.
You can lock the wheels up in the rain in the rain
Would cost approximately $2500 to build. Built by Tommy at Cutlass
Yes that’s an expensive aluminum wheel!
These are new and come with the tires and the cassette which are both new.
DA 11-28. HED Ti skewers.
SOLD

just curious, what rim brake were you using with 700x30c? These would be a nice upgrade to my Belgium+ X T11 wheelset. Do those tires measure true to size or are they a bit wider?
GLWS

Hi All,
From my friend:
Tires measure 32
Wheels/tires clear DA 9100 brakes no problem
Spoke count 20 F 24 R
Estimated weight is ~1450 but he will weigh tomorrow.

And this about clearance:
Fork is the bottle neck.
That’s why I run a Direct mount steel fork made by Bishop

Thanks!
