Thanks and keep them coming.
I have been in contact with 3 builders that I narrowed it down to. I just want some Ideas that I can throw at them on some of the "special effects" that I am looking to go in this F/F.
I did look at the 7-11 bike and it is a bit to long up top and 25c wheel in rear is smaller than I want to run.
Im looking at 54/55,taller HT,pump pegs, chain hanger,30/32 wheels, maybe SS rear triangle, cool rear brake bridge Seat stay caps, Built in chain stay protector and see where it goes from there.

see the gallery thread for close ups and notes. I prefer steel forks with a large radius bend. The downtube dia increases slightly from the HT to the ST.

here is my life tubed hampsten:

Here is my small diameter pego Richie tubed Zank lugged. This is a close second to the best riding bike Ive had. Ilove the compliance in the frame and it is still very light even with the steel fork.

This is to be my post cancer bike so I want it to be special. I want one that will be comfy on 5 hour rides, not real stiff but not a noodle either. Maybe a longer ST than TT. I will discuss this with the builder I choose. A few I have in mind are clockwork, chapman and bluesteelfab plus a couple others on my shortlist.
I do about 5 or six charity rides a year that are 75 to 100+ miles. I ride my custom DeSalvo Ti on these rides now, It was built 10 years ago so age and flexibility are catching up to me.
I love the RS lug sets, not much needs to be done to them.

There’s a full pic in the “Nicest bike” thread but it’s not a great pic. I’ll try to get a better one up shortly.

you've identified the usual braze-ons (pump peg, chain hanger)

the lugs - lots of choices in lug design and how you want the cluster areas to look (seat, BB) - fluted stays, pointed stays, etc.

one other thing I would have wanted is internal rear brake routing.
