What a super restoration job! That is a hangar queen for sure.

That said, I would have gone with a different color unless that is the original color. That is just a little too close to Bianchi celeste.

It’s beautiful but if someone gave it to me I’d have to turn around and regift it to a more appreciative person. I just would t have any use for a bike like that. Undeniable beautiful indeed.

Colnago

A year or so ago I acquired a 72 Colnago super frameset from a friend( in my size)
Decided I was going to go a more modern route ( brifters , etc) aka restomod

Realizing the back end would have to be spaced for more modern wheel spacing , and more braze ons added .....I opted to keep it true to its era ,& sold it to a vintage collector friend of mine, who will build it period correct( I had the chrome crown replated, and painted the frameset last summer ) all period correct

Hindsight, I’m glad I took this path
