Thanks for the reminder. I always feel the best deals are at fall swap.

I “might” be able to go this year ... fingers crossed.

If I go I’ll be setting up to sell, if my bro comes we’ll have a large pile of crap, I mean cool valuable parts and such. LOL

What’s the best way? Get a hotel? “Camp” in the van?

Appreciate any tips.

Plans are mostly made and the spots have been purchased, swing by and see our group of bicycle misfits in booths 120-121 and 134-137

Everything from vintage BMX to NOS 90s roadie goodness to new parts from store shelves this past week to who the hell knows what we'll pull out of the dark recesses of our piles. I guarantee I'll have my early production Merlin and a Billato-built Lemond that is worth looking at even if you don't buy it.

Come say hello (and bring a ton of cash lol)

Never been on that one, too far for me :P

The other detail is that almost every year it rains. Hope this year's ok.

Looking forward to it

Been going for at least 20 years. As soon as the date is out it goes on the calendar. Me and a close friend always meet for breakfast in Kutztown and then head up. Great tradition If anyone is interested in the Lynskey fixed gear frame I have for sale I can bring it along for inspection

There are always some camping in the parking lot but there are no amenities. I would recommend a hotel near the Sam Adams brewery along Rte 78. There is a Cracker Barrel in the same location

I am getting around much better these days so will likely make it to the swap. My friend has a booth but I don't know which number is his.

the weather is looking really good this weekend, which is making it hard to justify coming out to look at crap i dont need vs getting in a solid ride, but maybe. i always enjoy checking out the scene and i always bump into a few people i know.

we'll see!

any locals that might attend (or non locals i guess) that might want to combine a few hours of walking around with a few hours of riding? i can certainly bring a bike...

The number of sellers was down quite a bit from other years. Still found everything I was looking for. And a little extra. I wonder how much longer it will continue? Maybe go back to once a year.

I found some good deals as well but I feel interest is really waning in the swap/sort itself. This was the most poorly attended fall swap I have seen ever. Excluding rainy years. Only sold low end stuff, plenty of low ballers and tire kickers though.

I am looking to learn how to add and remove braze ons over the winter, luckily I found a Reynolds 631 frame with a damaged seat tube from a seized seat post. The perfect candidate for learning on. $10
