Still planning on attending, not sure which loop, probably either the 47 or 53 or whichever most everyone else is riding. I'll be driving up in the morning, only live a couple hours away. Hoping for nice weather, not much of a "mudder"!

Awesome! Look forward to meeting you.
In the past I’ve rented a pavilion, unfortunately I waited too long and they’ve all been reserved. So I plan to have a pop up tent or two so bring your own lawn chairs! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Just curious if while riding the 65 mile loop we go by any convenience stores after the halfway point where one can run in and buy a bottle of gatoraide if necessary? No biggie, bringing two large bottles along but if it's in the 90's might be helpful to top off.

There are no stores on the route, only one restaurant outside of bear swamp (mile 20ish?)

We had about 20 or so total (which was about right for me not charging or having insurance) much bigger and I may have to get organized to a level where I'm uncomfortable! A few folks stuck around and enjoyed a hot summer lunch picnic. Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk |

Brian is right, it was a super nice event with a great host! The park is very interesting and the gravel roads were great fun to ride. My first real gravel ride having just bought a cross bike about 3 weeks ago. Thank you so much for putting the event on Brian, I'll be back next year if you hold it again. Hopfully doing one of the longer loops. If I had stayed back I'd have done the standard route with the others, more fun I'm sure than tacking on miles riding around the lake.
Angry Scientist, I'll most likely see you at DirtPhalt if CNYRider has it this year. I met you when I rode the Friday night road ride at that event about four years ago, finally got around to buying a gravel bike so I could attend. |

We finally have a date for 2019, October 5th!
I've done spring and summer, so why not try a fall version. Route(s) will be pretty much the same as the last version. Start time will be 9am for warmth and light. Its one of the few Saturday's on the NYSBRA cyclocross calendar in central New York without a CX race. Hope to see some of you there! Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk |

This looks interesting! . . .
Any lodging suggestions? Looks like it would be an overnight from the Capital Region. I'll see if Lady Bumblebee is interested.
Moravia doesn't look like a lodging metropolis . . . any motel suggestions? BBD

Also, Skaneateles is within a half hour and has VERY upscale lodging at www.mirbeau.com (my wife is reservations manager there, ask for Beckie and let her know it's for the Filthy Fillmore - it's NOT cheap, just being upfront, can't promise any kind of a deal either unfortunately.) Plus there are lots of bed and breakfasts in the area. Ithaca is also within a half hour, which is also very nice.
