Great for any weather! Left the Fat at home today.

Beautiful sunny day in the 20s after a fresh 10" this week.

Nokian Hakka W240s made for a safe coffee, donut and Jamaican beef patty run.

One day of snow then rain and now it's gone. Pretty nice up at the Gay Head Cliffs and since it's school vacation here almost no cars on the road up island.

In the second photo you can see a reddish streak in the ocean and it's clay from the cliffs washing in.

20 miles with my wife on another very mild but super windy late-winter or early-spring day in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia:

I have 3 road bikes: this steel Alliance by Erik Rolf, a steel JKS by David Kirk, and an aluminum Zank. They are all super-smooth and comfortable rides. Hence the bar-end shifters on all three. They are so comfortable that I am in the drops about 90% of any ride except for climbing or descending.

Friend's ride on Mt diablo CA March 02, 2023

Friend's ride on Mt diablo CA March 02, 2023
We seldom get any large amount of snow on Mt. Diablo , CA
Normally 10 degrees colder on top. so when a cold rain passes thru my area Walnut Creek at nite there will be a dusting of snow on top.
But has you can see the snow is beyond just a dusting
Notice the bicycle Ted rode.
