I am a huge Vittoria cycling shoe fan. Their size range is very good and have narrow and wide shoes. You can get full custom as well. Pricing is quite reasonable and US dist is very knowledgeable on their product. Shoes are made in Italy vs others.

They’ll ask for a receipt in my experience. It sucks they broke but second hand used shoes; I don’t see why lake should offer a discount.

Agreed

Used = As is IMO and I work for a Co. that will offer discounts to second hand owners.

Update.

I just answered an email from Lake. They have agreed to replace my shoes at no cost to me. I know what shoes I'll be using for the duration!

That's awesome! Just another reason to love Lake.

Agreed clearly surprises me. They always supported me but demanded proof of purchase and confirmed I was within warranty period.

I was pleasantly surprised too! The only bummer is that the replacement pair will be black. But I'm not complaining!

Wow, that's great. I've been considering Lake for my next set of shoes, so happy to see/read this level of support.

And Lake overnighted these to boot. I haven't worn black cycling shoes since my Dettos back in the early '80's but I'm anxious to hit the road with these.

Well you're in luck, black shoes are relatively popular again. I just can't get on with the white sock/black shoe combo, however.
