"SHAMI 500! " Joe Shami (83 yrs young) is planning his 500th consecutive weekly ride up Mount Diablo for Sunday, Jan 14th! He has ridden up Mount Diablo every week for the last 9 yrs, 32 weeks regardless of the weather (rain, snow or cold). According to Joe, " I expect to cycle from home and go up Northgate, reaching the Park entrance by 8 am, and the Junction by 9:30 am or a few minutes later."
