Trunk mount rack reco Subaru Crosstrek

Nephew wants a two bike trunk mount rack. Dealership reco’s a Thule Passage.

Any reco’s out there for a trunk mount, mid priced rack?

He will not get a hitch installed and doesn’t want a roof rack so those options are out of scope

Hmm. Hitch is so versatile and convenient. You can get a 2” hitch receiver from etrailer for just over $100.

Anyway, if I were looking for a trunk rack, I’d look at a Seasucker. Less prone to using straps and scratching up the paint.

But man....I don’t miss the truck rack days.

It’s better than a trunk mount and does not require crossbars. Also, on sale on Sea Sucker site
