Steph is a really lazy defender.... I think he's the only star that I've watched that just looks like he isn't even trying sometimes. It can't simply get worse... then Klay goes out. I really hope they can pull it off. Add some drama.

He runs more distance per game than any player in the NBA. (this is not true, though) but He is exhausted.

What a hard fought game.

I feel so bad for Klay and Durant

Mercifully (for GSW player health) the series is over.

Congratulations to the Raptors.

Side comment: I really hate how the last few minutes of a close basketball game can last an eternity (and bear little resemblance to the actual basketball).

Congratulations Raptors. Great basketball. Both teams had the hearts of Champions, one was better.

False, he hits open shots- yes. But that's because he has never been double teamed in his life and there are bigger threats on the floor that allow him to shoot easy shots. Fred isn't even the best shooter on his team, enter Danny Green.

Ok.

Does kawhi stay? (I think he leaves)

Does KD leave? (I think he leaves)

And in a weird twist I think Boogie Cousins stays a warrior

Edit:

This might answer one of the above https://mobile.twitter.com/netw3rk/s...126355457?s=21

Durant has a $31 million one year player option. He's totally taking that to rehab and test the market next summer.

But that is a huge cap hold that puts a big wrench in Golden States other plans. (Ahem, Klay...)

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/...he-last-resort

But if he opts out he can sign a deal for $38 mil. Why would he opt in?
He could sign a short term deal and still have free agency to show he’s fully recovered

I see no chance Klay leaves.

As a former player (well, maybe not quite NBA material !) , yes, I can get pretty tedious. There’s a lot at stake and winning isn’t always about racking up points - your just have to outscore your opponent by one point and that can be achieved many ways. Once you slow a game down like that, I can seriously maim team momentum, if appropriate.

Yay Raptors!! Still sad that the Grizzlies died - it was fun to have Canadian pro ball in my city for a few years... but they couldn’t get their act together...

I think one of the under appreciated aspects of multi year champion runs is the toll all those extra games and shortened off seasons take on players’ bodies. The wear and tear adds up. I wanted GSW to win last night (come on, Boogie, make your free throws) but particularly with Klay down, the season ending last night was the merciful thing for everyone’s bodies.

Didn't we do this 2 weeks ago?

It's a tongue in cheek comment about a bit player, undrafted, almost out of the league a year ago being the dude who scores 12 points in the deciding quarter of the NBA Finals, including 2 huge stepbacks.

For the record, none of those were easy shots.
