Killing me with all these bikes like the argon that fits fat tires unlike my roubaix which maxes at 32mm.

The wife is in EU for a month, maybe she won’t notice a new frame set?

For a while, my wife couldn't tell if I replaced one bike with another of the same color. She has gotten much better at it though :-)

Well, we shall test those words. I went to the bike shop and ordered a Niner RLT frameset in steel. Should have it next week.

Argon 18

My wife has one of these- And my brother just got one.
Really a nice bike. Nice frame details, takes big tires, takes "real" fenders, and rides nicely.

Just finished building this up...sorting out the optimal gearing took a little work, but worth the effort.

Ha, yes. 52/39/30 up front, 13-34 out back...'bout covers it all!

Edit: Just put a Stronglight 50T big ring on...I like this better. May try swapping out the 13 & 14 cogs for 12 & 13 for a little more gear on descents. Regardless, big range with tight steps and a bit lighter than GRX--in both grams and dollars!

2019 Specialized Diverge with Ergon seatpost (CG-R had too much setback) and 650 wheels ... my first carbon ride and just a blast.
