I'm cool with things that are unnecessarily nice, or overpriced, or both. There will always be Park MT-*s or Abbey 4-ways for the rest of us. Their business model is predicated on getting metaphorical butts to put in metaphorical "275-dollar-floor-pump" seats. More power to 'em - even if mine doesn't fit.

Especially when used with either well worn bits, well worn bolts, or out of spec bits and bolts. The Silva tool is really smart. I think it’s one of the best products they have released. But, with nothing more than a magnet to hold it in place, I’ll pass. (This coming from the guy that sold many items to replace his Snap On ratchets with Snap On QR ratchets) |
