Purchased new in 2007 (took over a year for delivery!), one of the first batches to arrive in the US from Dario Pegoretti. Possibly shown at Interbike (only clue is the frame tag which mentions this).

A completely wild paint scheme with many 'quips' and cartoons. Some I have had translated, some I'll leave for you to discover. Too much to detail here, so if you want more pictures, etc. just e-mail me. Stainless steel frame, so very compliant, with a full Campagnolo Record 10 drive-train and low-profile Electron wheels (very comfortable), all in beautiful condition. I have the catalog for that year (and many other years) and can include a color copy if you like along with copies of pictures when I visited his shop in Italy (some of which are on Gita's site).

Although it's a bicycle, it's really 'Ridable Art' from one of the worlds finest frame builders and subsequent artists (very sadly no longer with us) and probably should be put on display only... If you're not familiar with Dario Pegoretti, I encourage you to search 'n learn! Robin Williams favorite!

Best to e-mail me at work, sorry no phone calls - way too much phone abuse! I answer all E's at work, so weekends can be iffy.

bicycle frame material: other/unknown
bicycle type: road
condition: like new
frame size: 62cm
make / manufacturer: Pegoretti
model name / number: Responsorium
wheel size: 700C
The ULTIMATE big boy unicorn. No doubt.

EDIT :: case closed, it's headed to our tall pall in NorCal..

---------

Donevwil has right of first refusal on this but if anyone else is interested, lemme know - I'll be shipping it back in a few days unless someone wants it..

I measure it as 66x62-63cm. And it definitely has a 23cm HT. It is in NOS condition, seriously. And I'll post pics of the clearance - I think fat true 28s should be no problem, though YMMV.

Original pics showing finish: https://www.theproscloset.com/produc...-62cm-frameset
