I'm very sorry to hear this news.
I myself find riding off-road to be somewhat more dangerous per hour than road riding, but which surely reflects my riding style in each environment. I've again taken up running after 30 years off, and have found this perhaps more dangerous than riding (the hazards of tripping on sidewalk features or on downhill descents either on- or off-road. Ten years ago, my 70+ neighbor went into rapid decline after she tripped while I believe just walking on one of our local sidewalks. |
