Threadless stem riser...where to get?

Got a buddy who just had some back surgery. Needs to get his bars up a couple inches. His bar is now slammed, so no space there. He already is using a flipped 17 degree stem, so nothing more there. We just need to raise whole bar up a few more inches. Doubt if he will ever be able to ride with much drop. He regrets cutting that fork steerer so short.

Is E bay best source? See several there. For 1 1/8 threadless steerer.

You should be able to get one of these on Ebay if your LBS can't get them. I've been using this on my Lemond, it works great.

Thanks...was looking at them for him. If the long expander bolt doesn't work right, can always use a different expander plug. it's a CAAD 5 Cannondale...assume FSA expander plug.

Does the existing Cannondale fork have an alloy steer tube? I don't think the extenders should be used on a full carbon fork.

Believe this Cannondale has an aluminum steerer. It's an early CAAD 5. Although I believe they did have an option of a carbon steerer fork back then.
