It’s down for the year. Or at least most major indexes are down for the year. The 600 point increase last week didn’t make up for the losses of the past month.

My "" was because there are more posts on a 600 point down day than a 600 point up day

I am glad that little voice in my head that said, "buy apple, buy amazon" was squelched by another little voice "you dont know how they make that kind of money. Keep it simple stupid." Solid, high dividend companies are doing , err better. PG&E not included. Search them out and do your DD.

There is good stuff to buy.

It's all because just recently in the mid-you-know-whats you-know-who flipped the you-know-what. If that hadn't happened, then the S&P 500 would probably have blown through 3500 weeks ago.
