Specialized purist or Camelbak podium

Plain water or if longer ride then one bottle plain water + one bottle Nuun

I like to have one plain water bottle in case i want to wash my hands face head or a wound if I hit the floor.

Nuun has the electrolyte replace without the calories and stickiness that comes with gatorade.

Nuun will carbonate and pressurize the bottle if you fill full of water and add the tablet. Better to fill the bottle 1/3, add the tablet, then fill to top once the fizz stops

Here's a handy guide I found that describes the various specialized lids. typically you will see either the MoFlo or Watergate lids
One note about the watergate - the first time tried one I squeezed it like I have the ubiquitous specialized bottles we have all used the past few decades and was taken completely by surprise how much water poured out. I like the flow a lot, but it is a lot of flow.
