15 years ago I would not own an aluminum bike - I thought the welds looked like a six year old packed bubblegum in there. Then I saw the work of Mike Zanconato, Paul Sadoff, and Frank the welder, and my mind got changed! Here are my two and they ride and fit perfectly.

I have never owned an alu bicycle, but I do know that for an alu bicycle thread to be worth its salt it needs to contain, in addition to those already posted, at least one Klein, one Primus Mootry, one Principia.

But, the thread is still young....
