REALLY?!? That actually makes me feel a tinnnny bit better. I just thought i had sh*t luck.
So I gorilla taped the rim, and a buddy gave me a Mr. Tuffy 'liner' for the tire. Just got done with a hilly 100K and it held up fine. But at high speeds I thought i was feeling an.......ummmm.......how do you call it: "imbalance". Didn't feel it climbing and was under a time constraint so I didn't bother looking at tire till I got home and.........well...........found this little guy.
Not sure if it's weak sidewall or if it's the Tuffy liner overlaped and bunched up on that side.
