Anyone riding a Mr. Pink?

How does the Zona tubed All City bikes ride? Better than the gas pipes Surly uses? Will I be disappointed in this frameset? I am currently riding a SuperSix Evo HiMOD and really want more tire clearance for commuting/bikepacking and fenders. A disk brake bike is the ultimate solution, but with the Mr. Pink I could swap everything but the brakes over, saving me $$.

Thanks!

Sandyrs has one he's been trying to sell, but it's 61. Not sure if that fits in your size parameters. He's had lots of bikes, could give you some valuable insight into how they ride.

That's what my ex wife says.

I’ve had 2. they’re great but ultimately sold them and got a black mountain cycles road. Purely based on fit and I love it. All city sizing is typically big so just look at that.

Not knocking the Mr Pink, and say what you want about the over-categorization of bikes, but I’d think that there are better options for bikepacking? Personally I’d want something that could handle slightly wider tires, another bottle mount, and with a slightly less racy geometry for those long, slow slogs over knotty inclines.

Looking forward to trying it out, especially the hydro rim brakes. I'm thinking of adding some king stainless cages.

IDK about Mr Pink, but my All City Nature Boy 853 rides very nicely indeed.

My girlfriend has one that I've ridden around a bit. She has no complaints. It's a nice frame, thoughtful details. The Zona is nice, but I think it is only used for the main triangle, with fork and stays being garden variety cromo. Definitely a step up from surly. All City has some sexy paint jobs too. It's one of the nicer production steel road frames around, in my opinion.

On Red 22, they made more post-recall.

Wait... those actually reach the rims? I didn't realize they'd have enough reach! And, did it have those levers on it when you bought it?

I built a 49 with 53tt and before I even had a chance to ride it, a friend was over and asked if I would sell it.. it is a nice frameset.
