your re-use of the carbon is pretty amazing. And you obviously do a lot more with your free time than I do with mine....inspiring though!

i'm sure you know this Tony, as you appear to know what you're doing, but i hope you're taking appropriate respiratory precautions when you cut the carbon. CF dust is pretty bad for ya.

Yes, thank you, I do. I wear an approved mask and run a shop vac while doing all cuts and holes on the carbon.

I thought I should mention that this is the best carbon frame I've cut into. Lots of attention to details, no voids in any of the cuts, clean inside and no loose fibers.

Was anyone able to view the photos of the American river area where the frame was found?

I get a 404.
I live in the area, have seen whole bikes chained to trees down there but I stay away from the water so miss the gems that MattTuck has found.

A lot of stuff gets thrown off of the Foresthill Bridge into the North Fork of the river, even huge projectiles like engine blocks. And people throw themselves off almost every year, 700+ feet down.
