D2r2 2018

The registration for the best gravel ride in the US just opened up.

$100 if you do it early. Just registered.

Had a blast last year on the 100k mystery (was more like 115k), going to do the 125k mystery this year.

It's super easy to transfer entries so if you are on the fence just buy one because you can always get your money back reselling the entry here as it's way cheaper now than when the date approaches. But you won't want to do that anyway because it's such a fun ride.

I always register early, its great. Not only its cheaper, a couple of years ago they gave me a free shirt and best of all gives me an excuse to get out of any errand/activity my wife or friends want to do that weekend. D2R2 is like a religious holiday. Oh, your wedding is on that weekend? and I have to fly 5 hours to attend? oh sorry can't go, have something very important that weekend.

Just 5 short weeks till the 14th installment of D2R2
1100 riders currently registered!
For those who have been riding this for the last half dozen years or so and are familiar with the 'big top' and the 1200+ riders, I offer a look back to simpler times...
This is the registration area in Old Deerfield on Old Main St. from the first year of the event 2005

Things have changed just a bit!!!

was just talking about this yesterday. It should be another great year. You mention 1100 + riders but somehow there is still a feeling of being a small ride (at least while on the ride, you really do get to see how big it gets at the end).

If you are 100 miles from this ride, you should really drive and do this ride, it truly one of the best rides and best times one can have. Let the countdown begin.

Also when do people start talking about tires????

I don't even have a bike for this yet this year

I can't wait! Bringing more and more riders with me each year and they are hooked! Planning to tackle the 180 again. It's been a few years and I need to bring better legs than I did last time.

If this year is the 13th, that makes 2006 the first, right? If so, that means I've only missed one!

I'm riding the 120km mystery this year. I plan to camp in the field on Friday, I hope to see some of you there.

Chris
