circumstances out of my control this year, and camping with the microcamper are out. wound up picking up a last minute hotel for tonight about 1/2 hour away. i really will miss the tradition of camping out in the field the night before, especially in the camper, but not going to happen this year.

my plan is to ride solo, start early and go at my own slow, leisurely pace, i'm sure i'll see some of you on the road tomorrow!

I’m staying a few miles away at my sister in laws. Probably get there this evening. I will be riding the 100k. Probably be there relatively early.

Agreed.

If maybe a Paceline table after the ride, people can circle in and out as they arrive. Throw some paceline caps on the table so we know which one!!

The weather is looking pretty grim for tomorrow. This might get interesting.

You all 100kers planning on starting early or going at 9ish? I'll be there on my Ti Warbird with blue tape and will either be wearing a Wheelworks jersey or a Zanc jersey. Depends if my amigo and I decide to ride as twins or not.

Looks like it'll be interesting weather-wise and we might end up with a t-storm soon after heading out.

i should have went wider, as these (i now know) run a bit narrow, but too late to react.

White C'dale tandem. Still deliberating fenders. We are also not camping tonight for the first time due to a commitment tonight. Hotel 45 minutes away. Doing the 115k partly for its 9:00 am start, partly because of my current smell-the-roses mindset. Bike fits 47-48 tires but wound up with 42 Resolutes tubeless. I guess 42s now qualify "skinny", at least according to Pamela Blalock in the course conditions report.

I’ve decided that I’m going to mount some gravel king sk 48mm 650b and run the no22. Looks like fat knobbies are going to be the way to go with tomorrows forecast.

Ended up with an extra one of these if anyone needs. I'm bringing in the car just in case. $10.

I'm aiming for an early start, probably around 7ish depending on what time my alarm clock (i.e. 4yo son) gets us up!

WHen we did the 100k we always left earlier and then took our time. Same with the 115k.

This time with the 128k we will probably leave on time since I doubt anyone would want to leave much earlier than 7:30 (I would, I will be up at 5 so I could leave with the 180kers.

I’m game for a 7:30am start for the 100k if anybody else is up for it? We can meet up by the start line at 7:15?

Still up in the air as to what I’m planning on riding, but the Steilicoom might be the widest tire I have for mud aside from picking something else up at the lbs.
