Kickr question for free spinning

Trying to set up my Kickr for my daughter to use for her virtual PE class in school. I have zwift but I don't think she will want to ride there (vs. watching youtube while exercising.)

Can I leave it unplugged so she can just free spin? Will it cause any damage if she uses it unplugged?

I'm not sure, but why not just leave it plugged in without anything controlling it? It'll only produce the watts she does without input.

Thanks. I will give it a try.

I would use the wahoo app so she can control the power. If uncontrolled, I think it might be left at high resistance.

Fire up the Wahoo app and start the workout. Set mode to Resistance and pick something low and let her go crazy.

An old iPad or something on the side makes it pretty easily adjustable.

Great!

I forgot about the Wahoo app since I never used it. Glad I can set it to low resistance and make it like a traditional stationary bike.
