Just wrapping up this build and getting ready to put it in a box to send off to Joe Bell for his to do some painted accents. This has been even more fun that usual.

Yup, the hand shadow shot is great. So is the idea of having the wheels spinning in the third shot....

Dave,

Please tell us that crusty water bottle is filled with cutting oil, antifreeze or some other shop designated purpose and not how you're getting your refreshment these days.

That's funny - nope.....no refreshment coming from that 30 year old bottle. It's got water in it that I use to thin the paste flux I use for brazing. It also does double duty to check to be sure that a bottle cage is in a happy place on the frame.

High tech stuff for sure.

Beautiful!
Would you please comment about the choice of placement of the cable adjusters, downtube vs. headtube?

Sure - some lugs have built in cable adjuster ports and some don't. The lug blanks I used don't have them and I didn't want to add them to the lug because I think the added part takes away from the lines of the lug. So in this case I placed them on the down tube.

Does that make sense?

Four photos and four different bikes built a few weeks ago to a few years ago.
