Indianpolis facilitation sought - donating used bicycles

Hi Hive Mind,

My elderly parent has a couple old bikes (1970's Schwinn World Tour, 1950's JC Higgins) that I would prefer to see donated rather than left with the trash. Does anyone know if there are programs accepting bikes and if they do pick-ups. Bikes located in Fishers. Thanks!

This organization appears to have had a pick up in the past. I don’t know if they still do.

If helpful, I can facilitate. I was formerly on the Board of Freewheelin Community Bikes, linked here.

Donated bikes are either fixed up and sold to raise money for youth programs OR, are chosen by youth as the bike they want as their reward for completing the program. The site can offer better information than I.

I live on the north side of Indianapolis, not too far from Fishers. If they can't get the bikes down to Indy, I could drive up and collect this weekend, provided they fit in the back of my '05 Passat wagon.
