Ever have THIS happen to you on a ride?

This was on the AP wire today. My friend Tom and I had a skydiver plummet to earth in front of us when his para-glider stalled October before last, but I can't say as I have ever had a house burst into flames in front of me before. Maybe at Nottrott Weekend . . . ?

For them to take his picture in front of the burning house

The garage door of yesterday is the burning house of today. Therefore I expect all of your photos updated in the gallery with the new standard

Oh, but isn't that what Jerry Falwell does to Democrats in the area?

Funny that he had a bike and ran for help!

My strangest on-bike spectacle was riding on a frontage road next to an interstate exit where you exited, went up a ramp to a "T" intersection. I was riding along when all of a sudden out of my peripheral vision there was a car flying through the air! I kid you not, my first thought was "there's something you don't see every day!". Went over to the car (which had landed on its top) and there was a really fat guy, drunk as he could be, both legs badly broken and who knows what other injuries. He was pinned so all I could do was keep him calm (when he came to) while an ambulance came. Pretty weird.
