The league has been pretty transparent that stars can rest for pretty much any reason this year. It would be nice if someone on a max could play every game, but I feel like this is priced in to the Kyrie experience at this point. The same way you know you're only getting 75% of a season out of Embiid or Kawhi. I would consider it part of the fee of also having KD and DJ and be grateful for the extra rest in this compressed season since only the playoffs really matter to the Nets.

Kyrie and KD need to be there in April and May. A couple games in December won't matter all that much.

For the guy making $33 million a year, as a fan I want him at his peak come playoff time for the best playoff basketball. A dog days game in an arena with no fans in a compressed season doesn't matter that much I think.

On TV Monday nite Curry has braces on both ankles our we doomed (Assuming your a warrior fan)
And he had a very poor shooting nite
We our doomed
How can he hold up thru a full season and playoffs
Anyone also noticed those braces on both ankles when they panned his new shoes? SF Chronicle has a big photo sunday 1/10/2020

LaMelo just became the youngest player to go for a TD https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.esp...3fplatform=amp

Any thoughts on him? Potential for a Jason Kidd like career? He’s real lanky at 6’8. So, a good four inches on Kidd.

As the NBA is expected to review videos circulating on social media of a maskless Kyrie Irving at what appears to be a family birthday party, there is no belief the Brooklyn Nets guard will return to the team's lineup this week, sources told ESPN.

Irving was already ruled out of his fourth straight game Tuesday night against Denver, and sources say that, at a minimum, he is expected to miss Wednesday's game against New York and Saturday's against Orlando. His absence has been attributed to personal reasons...

He always has braces on both ankles. Sometimes depending on the shoes/socks they are more noticeable. But they are always there. BUT, he did slightly roll it in a game last week. He was limping a bit after it. They mentioned it in the telecast

Haha. Harden, KD, and Irving (if he stays). No drama there. Love to see how that chemistry experiment pans out ...

Sources: Kyrie Irving accidentally burns Harden’s beard while burning sage causing fracture in nets chemistry.

Haha. That’s a good one. Almost as good as your NYT caption. 😉

Update on Kyrie situation.

I’m told he’s been “furious” at the organization for some time for not giving him more input on the head coach hiring.

He was not in favor of Steve Nash.

Also, his relationship with Kevin Durant has been described as “very distant” recently.

So if Kyrie's unhappy about it, I wouldn't blame him. I was left scratching my head too.
