Even if it were a clear powdercoat, you'd have to watch out for chips and whatnot. I have some rust on my clear powdercoated steel frame.

Looks awesome, though.

woah.

that's a mind-blowingly beautiful build. really. lugged bb? fillet all elsewhere? gorgeous! i've always loved the look of straight up steel. no paint to cover up the artisan skill. beautiful. really.

Congratulations on the new bike. The clear coat really shows off the workmanship on the fillet brazing. Great stuff!

Decided to go with a mix of record and super record instead of athena so the build is going to be delayed a little bit.
