So cool. Steve is so much fun to work with. You need to take this on the Dolomite tour with his little brother. Would love to go for a ride and check it out once it's built up.

very nice. for some reason this execution looks so right, so balanced on that bike.

will be very cool to see this built up and ridden.

so hampsten isn't doing the fab in house but rather a collaboration with a local carbon builder? thought the maglia rosa's were from overseas. hmm... yes, agree. need ride reports.

I'd say you have outdone yourself mr Porter. By the description I was not expecting to like, but seeing the picture changes my mind completely.

Looking forward to seeing the full build in the gallery and congrats.

Not quite: Peter builds them in-house, here at HampCo, and this is his only frame outlet. Maglia ROSA is currently:

Custom carbon

Custom steel

Asian carbon

but will likely see some shuffling soon.

Re:Maglia Rosa

Maybe an aluminum Maglia Rosa race rocket.... just putting it out there.

Nice work on this.

Damn.

Do you know where this sits in the Hampsten carbon lineage? It must be one of the first 10?

Looks fantastic. Great on so many levels.

I really hope the next paceline cap order chooses this color scheme.

Not sure about where it sits in the timeline but I know they're just really getting started with Peter Graham's frames like this one with Nick Crumpton's input. Steve just sent me this and posted it across the hall:

More better pics to come, but this is looking goood. Will have it the week after next when I'm back from vacation. I'm reserving judgment as to whether I'll need to take the bars down a spacer or so, but at 64 this is a good place to start. I tend to ride with 6-7 cm of drop so will play with the fit to fine tune it. Fun!

Wow! Beautiful! Congrats to you and Hampsten bikes for this!

The paint scheme is iconic to fans of American cycling and while I'm not normally a fan of shiny bits on modern bikes, these seem to work and channel the 1980s 7-Eleven team bikes.

I really like this!

Whoa! This really sets the bar for "neo-retro". Looks fantastic all the way around. Congrats!
