Have we forever lost the knowledge of how to make all the cool Benotto wrap patterns. I recall bars that were rapped in diamonds.

Another vote for Benotto.

Available from soma (although their photo doesn't look very convincing), or from this guy on eBay.

In fact, thanks for the reminder, I think I'm going to pick up a few rolls myself. Great all by itself, or put it over urethane gel tape for more cushion.

Tennis tape previously recommended worked well for me on the TT bike. Very grippy even when wet, low cost, thin versions available.

Yes, Tennis Overgrip. It goes over normal grip tape so is super thin.

I used to love that stuff, harlequin patterns and goofy fold-over patterns. It was cheap and fun and if you couldn't afford cool Campy stuff you could at least have cool handlebars.

Brooks' Cambium cloth tape is pretty thin and goes on nicely. Limited colors though. Plus the Brooks' price.
