What's your favorite aided rides in the greater California Bay Area?

Just looking to sign up for some fun aided tours in the greater bay area.

So far I've found:

Alta Alpina Challenge
Death Ride
Tour de Napa

Any other good ones out there? Key word is aided.

Assuming that by "aided" you mean "supported with aid stations, food, etc." then I'd definitely put the Santa Cruz Mountains Challenge on your list. I've done the century length for a number of years and in addition to being a well-organized event that is populated by good people with good attitudes, Santa Cruz is simply a gorgeous place to ride with challenging climbs, plus you're supporting a good local club.

I've got friends who have good things to say about Levi's Fondo but it's a bit far for me to go so I haven't ridden it (yet).

Most rides in the Bay Area do not require aid. There are enough towns along the way that serve as age stations and nothing is all that remote. The Death Ride is the only event I can think of that is so far out that it might require that.

Well since you mentioned the Death Ride I assume you are willing to consider beautiful rides that are a serious challenge, here are a couple I recommend:

Terrible Two

Tour of the Unknown Coast

Tour of the Unknown Coast is an unbelievable ride-- but aid is relatively minimal. Don't expect a hot panini and an espresso at mile 50. It's an orange slices and Gatorade affair.

It's also a 5-ish hour drive from SF so that would be greater, GREATER Bay Area.
