Campy Valuation

I need the forums help to value a group. I don’t have pics at the moment but I have an all alloy Campy Chorus/Record 10 speed group that I am thinking about selling to fund another project. It came on a bike that I bought complete and it was sold as never used. To be honest I am not sure it has been so I would call everything except the Crankset near mint/mint. I needed longer cranks so the set I have is very nice 172.5 but can get the near mint 170 if needed. In addition to the group I have a set of very nice Record hubs laced to Matrix Aurora Ceramic rims. I’d like to get a value to see if selling will get me close to where I am going to fund the other project. If not, I’ll hang onto it. I really don’t want to part out and would rather put it all in one box and send to one person if possible. Can the collective wisdom here give me a ballpark without pics to help with the decision. If I lost I will list here so factor a fair forum price not what eBay May bring. Thanks... I’ll try to snap a few pics in a bit if I can. I figure someone here could use something like this for a project they have in the works.

It's really hard without pics and without knowing which parts are chorus and which are record. Sounds like a very cool group, please post a pic!

Everything is Chorus except the Record hubs. Here are a few quick pics. Pardon the dust. I put them in this Serotta, tuned it in the stand, and it has sat since. Honestly because it is so nice. How dumb is that. Other than the cranks and hubs I don’t know that rest of the drivetrain has seen use.

Clearly I am no photographer. I have a friend who can take high quality pics if/when I pull it but I don’t want to disassemble the bike if the market price isn’t worth it.

The value is all in the wheels shifters and rear der.

I’d probably price it at $600-650 for the group. Plus ship

Wheels we need better pics and info. What’s the spoke count

I recommend you just sell the whole bike...to me...thanks! Looks beautiful and on the larger side

Srsly tho. I’d put the groupset value in the $4-500 range. And $2-250 for the wheels if they are Record hubs. That’s based on what I’ve sold similar for here, though my group was full Record and so went for a bit more. That said, they are worth what someone will pay at the time they are listed - could be more, could be less.

32 hole. Hubs and skewers are in very very good shape. Like campy they spin like butter. Glad to snap any other pics to help just tell me what is best to see. This is my only bike with Campy. I just don’t know as much about is as I should and hopefully y’all will.

You are saying $600-650 for group and wheels plus shipping? Or $600-$650 plus whatever the wheels would get?

Unfortunately for you the bike would fit you perfectly but it will be staying with me. It was repainted as a gift from my wife. This is why I suggest a commune for guys our size so we can share rides!

$600-650 for groups sans wheels.

Maybe $900-1000 with wheels?

This is assuming everything is near mint.

Mint shifters sell for $200-250 and work from there

Thanks, I’ll get some quality photos before listing. Go Dubs! Is the Landshark still in service?

Yes sir. Ridden every single day. It acquired a minor dent while it was locked up but it’s in service. 10 sp ultegra/dura ace—sim works everything.

Awesome... a dent is just a character mark for her.

I think this may be an upper bound, maybe on eBay in peak season.
