Nicest tubeless ~700x30?

What's out there that's really nice in a smooth tread around 700x30 ? I'd like to try tubeless again but don't want to go much fatter than a 30

I just got a tubeless setup so I can't speak to other brands yet but I've been happy with a pair of WTB Exposure 30

I think everyone mentioned the popular stuff already. That Schwalbe Pro One 28 is on my radar and known to be wider than advertised in all sizes.

I own the Exposure 30 and they are wide, 32mm on a Velocity A23. I do like them.

Hutchinson Sector 28 or 32 seems like a good option.

Can't say enough nice things about the 30mm Schwalbe G One speed (formerly known as the S one).

Setup perfect even without sealant. Ride quality is superb. I run them between 50-65psi. Love this tire.

i agree with the schwalbe posts. Setup is flawless and easiest on the market.

I have Schwalbe Pro One‘s on my climbing bike and G One’s on my gravel bike. Fully recommended.

I installed these two weeks ago and agree. Coming from secteur 28, I still look down to make sure there is air they are that much smoother...

Those WTB Exposures are robust! I have seen them take some
beatings and never heard of a flat from my friend who is using them. However they measure north of 32mm from the wheelsets I've seen them mounted on (all wide rims like ENVE, i9, Belgium+).

I used to run the Specialized Roubaix 25/28 which measures 29-30mm depending on the tire. These are tubeless compatible, their lingo is 2bliss I believe, though I used tubes with them. Also never flatted after thousands of miles of gravel and pavement road biking.

i think compass is moving toward tubeless compatibility on all of their tires.

panaracer is doing the same with the smooth gravel kings. the 38's are already tubeless, i suspect the smaller ones will follow.

both of those tires are close to 30c, depending on the rim profile and ride absolutely brilliantly with tubes, so likely even better without.

i bet they will be available tubeless soon.

black extralight and tan standard 28mm Chinook Pass tires are now tubeless, at least in the latest batches.
I have a set of black extralight, and it has the notable tubeless bead, though I am still running it with inner tubes. I heard that the tan standard casing is also tubeless but haven't seen it myself. Chinooks measure out just under 29mm on wide rims and are wonderful.

perhaps Jan can chime in on where Compass is going with 28s and 32s?

been commuting on specialized roubaix pro 30/32's for the past year or so...surprisingly durable/flat resistant tires with a nice balance of cush and speed. id recommend em.

I had good experience with these as fast commuters on my CX bike as well.
