Changes fairly often, but here's a much smaller image of what's on the screen right now...

I believe that's actually Nutley, where I currently live. We actually have a nifty (but tiny) museum here with some pics of the old track. Cool photo.

I believe that the Nutley Velodrome was located on Park Avenue across the Passaic River from the Lyndhurst Diner, correct? But the photo shows a covered track, and the Nutley track was definitely not covered (I don't know about Newark). Here's a clip of midget auto racing at the Nutley Velodrome: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yATwN7lEuU.

Also, the costumes in the photo look older than from 1933, which was when the Nutley Velodrome opened.

The name of this photo is "Tanker Dreams" and pops-up as wallpaper on maritime computers worldwide. I was Chief Mate when the photo was taken, and Duke (also on the Forum) was Captain as I recall. The ship is the Overseas New York, and was my first command after I kicked Duke down the ladderwell. This was taken while the ship was loading at the Alyeska Marine Terminal in Valdez, AK.

I'm trying to post a pic with the same fill the screen quality as is shown in your post. What is the trick? I have Imgur available. I just don't know how to maximize the image size to the screen space and size restrictions on Paceline.
Thanks much,
Byron
