Seems like there a good number of the Colorado Cyclist brand Douglas Ti bikes back around 2002, a number of which were clearance sale purchases as the 9s and 1"-steerer bikes were on the way out.
These were Lightspeed-made and with painted front ends that may have hid a less aesthetic grade of weld in that area for all I know. They were priced rather low it seemed. I use mine as a rain bike and as a "comfort" road bike with it's modest reach, higher handlebar and cushioned ride quality that even my modest weight can generate some give over the bumps. At one time I had two of them, I compared two frame sizes over a month's time and ended up keeping the smaller of the two. Highly recommended for the lighter rider! |

And I'm ambivalent about mixed materials in my head but my eyes do love them. Please give thoughts about ride after you've had it awhile, PM me if you want. That bike is so awesome. |

Beautiful Ti stable. Would you happen to have build(s) logs on these fine machines? |
