If it's raining, I ride the aluminum bike.
If it's racing, I ride the carbon, because it's disposable and has crash replacement.
For all else, I ride the steel bike.

If my wife is around, I ride one of the bikes she knows about.

If my wife is not around, I ride one of my new bikes.

Interesting. I like many materials for frames, but at the end of the day, a good carbon frame is faster than anything else I've ridden...I really like steel and ti but at the end of the day, if I want speed, I go with the Time VRXS. But for shorter rides, I'm good with my steel Ron Cooper, Zac or my Ti Legend.

So ummm.... Yeah. Choices.

During CX season it gets easier 'cause 2 of the bikes are 'race bikes' so unless I'm specifically training CX stuff, they get raced.

Then there's the Gunnar gravel bike. ...the Langster fixie with full fenders aka rain bike.

etc etc etc It all depends on what I'm doing and what hasn't been ridden in a while. That reminds me! I need to go mtn biking here real soon. I can hop out the door and be on country roads, or I can drive to go mtn biking. Since I have this allergy to driving to go riding so I end up on the road most often.
