I was doing a cross race in Toronto and the fr straddle cable slipped off just before a steep downhill, so I figured I'd blow the tape and hook back up to the course and ride to the pit, there was a crowd where I planned to bail out and when they parted I realized they were standing in front of a large concrete drain of some sort, so I t-boned it. The fork was fine, frame a bit less so. That's life, beats breaking a collarbone.

Merckx Corsa Extra purchased from Ari on this forum. Not Campy, but my preferred component group, a mix of 105 and Truvativ. Think of it as the "Working Man's Merckx".

I just got back from a ride on that frame and saw this thread. I'll try to post a picture with its current build tomorrow.

My Zank

Sorry for the busy background, but this bike rides even better than it looks. (And, yes, the steerer tube has since been cut down to a proper height.)

Rub it in why don't ya.... I do miss that frame even though I rode the Seven more. Kinda funny I ended up finding a Merlin that fit better than the Seven so may end up selling the Seven after all but just can't seem to let it go but I would consider a trade for that CDA . Hope you are enjoying it.
