For the Randonneuring crowd here, please note that D2R2 conflicts with PBP this year (it's the day before) - don't ask how/when I noticed this.....

Just popped in my head today, we are less than a month away from one of the best rides of the year!

Are we going to start talking tires soon or what?

Mystery

Bringing waaaay better fitness and 35lbs less weight to the Mystery ride this year. Sizing up on the tires and getting ready for some hike-a-bike.

And stopping in at Treehouse to pick up supplies on the way out from Boston

I'll be there for the 100k.
Had a hot Raid Lamoille, hoping for not-so-hot.

Riding buddy dropped out, but still going to do the Mystery ride. Looking forward to it even though I have an event to attend on Cape Cod the night before.

Going to try to make it again this year, but undecided on what ride I will actually participate in. I have been riding more this year, but mostly 30-50 miles and nowhere near the amount of climbing that this ride requires.

Pretty sure I am going to bring the drifter and run 35mm 700c, but may try some Soma Grand Randoneur 42mm 650b?

I plan to be there for 100k. First time. Hoping to find some folks I can tag along with as I have no clue where I am going. I do not use gps and doubt I bother moving bike computer to the bike I will be on. I see this as relaxed 'fun' ride. We'll see.

you will have the cue sheet. Sometimes you ride with a lot of people and sometimes you are all alone. There is no real markings of the corse. You should be ok though, thats part of the fun

I'll be there again this year, although still deciding between 100k, 115k, and 100k Mystery ride.

If anyone sees a very tired looking person riding a white & red Hampsten, please come up and say hi!
