Restoring LOOK pedals
Have any of you restored/refurbished old LOOK Delta pedals?
I've never seen anything about taking them apart and painting/powercoating them. I've got some old ratty ones that could probably look nice again with some TLC. |

Probably you can get nos ones at ebay, or somebody here has a pair moving around.

I have a pair of black Wellgo copies in the classifieds, used for no more than 50km and going cheap. PM me if interested.

I repainted a pair to match a frame. I didn't take them apart, simply masked off the axles. They look great. Early Look pedals (PP75 and their Mavic equivalent) seemed to have better paint than most later ones. I suspect that the prep was shoddy so that people would replace them when they got ugly.

I'm another Delta user, and I have a couple of pairs that could use paint. I've also got one that needs a bearing replaced, and I found this thread on RBR that seems to the point: http://forums.roadbikereview.com/com...als-71259.html |
