My Tribute to Paceline Forum - Merlin Cyrene

This is my tribute to the Paceline Forum, prior to joining I was an advent Italian brand guy, specifically Colnago. This forum has open my eyes to a broad spectrum of bikes and builders. This Merlin is my first U.S. made bike ever since I was a kid, and I owe it all to Paceline for several reasons. I know to a lot of folks on here the bike is nothing special but for me, when I first saw these bikes I was like, Wow! But I didn't like the hourglass head tube on the one I saw. Then I saw this one without the hourglass listed by a Paceliner, and the odd size was basically the fit I was looking for. Besides crank, most parts came from parts bin or Paceline, and I was actually surprise by the weight of 16.3 lbs considering the size. I took it for the maiden ride today. Need to make some minor tweaks but considering I have not ridden for several months due to aftermath of COVID and the 39 degree slightly windy day, I really enjoyed how the bike rode. More to come as I ride more, suppose to be 50 degrees tomorrow. Here are the specs:

Frame: 2009 Merlin Cyrene Size 59 - Paceline Purchase
Fork: Easton EC90 SL - Paceline Purchase, I removed all graphics
Headset: Chris King Nothreadset Black Sotto Voce
Stem: Bingham Built 115mm Titanium - Paceline Purchase
Handlebars: Zipp SL 80 44cm
Seatpost: Bingham Built Sweetpost Titanium
Seat: Prologo Nago Evo X8 Ti Rails - I installed Leh Cycling Acorn Recycle Kit
Bartape: Leh Cycling Acorn
Bottle Cages: King Cage Titanium
Groupset: Campagnolo Super Record RS 11Sp
Wheels: Campagnolo Bora WTO 45 - Paceline Purchase
Tires: Continental Grand Prix Classics 25m
Pedals: Time Expresso 6

Very very nice. It looks spectacular. I hadn't seen the type of filigree engraving before.

Super classy build. Leather bars, saddle, titanium, gunwalls, campy, what more could you need?!

That is a 10 out of 10! I particularly appreciate the matching bar and seat covers!
