Pursuit Supple Road is here

There have been lots of manufactures posting demo/media bikes up lately and while I wasn’t actively looking for a bike, I wasn’t opposed to the idea. After talking with Carl to clarify a few build details I decided to pull the trigger as the stock 54cm geo is pretty much perfect for me. I’ve had an Aspero for the past 1.5yrs that I bought for a pending move out west which didn’t end up happening and the bike is overkill for the gravel I ride, though I have nothing bad to say about the bike. A little hesitant about the stated 32c clearance as I’d ideally like a 35c but Carl seemed confident that there is space for more.

Frame is built for di2 so probably going to do 12spd a Ultegra/105 mix.

Looks nice!

Are the wheels pictured 650B or 700C. It's getting hard to tell with fat tires these days!

Agree, never a n easy spot these days. Pictured with 650b.

And yeah too much blue for my taste with the saddle and bar tape, also not a fan of polished wheels and accents aside from the logo. Headset and BB were swapped to matte black, planning to make everything else black as well.

I went back to see if this was on the site a couple of days ago and it was gone! Glad to see somebody here snagged it!

Congrats! Excited to hear your take on this one, as I've been interested in a supple road. It splits the difference between my Hampsten and Mosaic and would be perfect to leave in Nashville or Vero...

I wouldn't discount getting 650b 42's to satisfy your bigger tire wants, they're still quick on the road and if you get matching wheel sets, it's an easy swap over.

Yeah that was my plan, have a set of 650b around for when I want to get a little more rowdy. ETA is Tuesday for the frame and groupset later in the week. Hopefully will have this built up by the weekend!

Initial parts mock up. Paint work on this thing is insane, I don’t think I grasped how detailed the fade would be be. Currently sporting Schwalbe G-One Speed 35c in the rear and X-One Speed 33c front. Not sure I’ll keep this combo as it’s pretty tight, was surprised the fork was the limiter as I was really hoping for a 35f/33r setup but might swap over to the 30c G-One Speeds f and r. Have Enve AR bar waiting at the LBS and really just have to figure out a crank situation at this point.

Great looking frame and I like the track you are on build /style wise. All that blue on the Cycling Tips version was, well...um yeah.

Enjoy
