No way is better than have Paul himself make you a cool stem with a lobster decal on it.

How wide are the bars and how wide is the bag? I've been eyeing a ruthworks bag pretty hard the last couple months even though I'm not sure I actually need anything that nice.

Asking because I've been running 40cm bars which are probably on the narrow end of the spectrum for that kind of bag set-up.

I run a 42 bar, with a little bit of room between the bars for the bag. Definitely helps to run Di2, so there's no shift lever interference, though there's enough room that even that wouldn't be much of a concern.

Great bike - looks like you changed bar type too - what's the new bar? looks great!

Thanks! New bars are Ritchey EvoMax, wanted to try something with a little flare/sweep, but also that still has a traditional round bend. A narrow venn diagram, for sure

When I got my Lobster, I asked Paul about building a stem vs buying one and match painting it. He told me that an Easton stem was better and lighter than anything he could make - he was pretty funny about it! That said, a stem is a stem as long as its well made, but I stick to my guns that the Nitto is sexier
