Paceline's Dario Pegoretti Gallery
Rather than post an individual bike thread, I think it would be great to have a consolidated thread of Pegoretti bikes owned by Paceline members. Dario is a framebuilding master and has some of the most expressive paint schemes around. Let this be a thread where we can come to see the realizations of his creativity all in one place.
Only rules are that the bike must be currently or formerly owned by you or someone close to you. Let's avoid just pulling random pictures off the internet. I'll get it started - a 58cm Responsorium in Goze, one of his standard paint schemes. I've got almost 4k miles on this one. Last fall I had a brain lapse and thought I needed a smaller frame size, but after experimenting around, I ended up rebuilding this one and realized how mistaken I was. This bike was and remains the best handling bike I have ever ridden. Nothing inspires as much confidence when descending at speed. Rebuilt almost entirely with parts sourced off the forum including Chorus 10-spd grouppo, Shamal Ti wheelset, Ritchey stem, Deda bars, and King headset. I had the Nitto post, Regale saddle, Vittoria tires, and King cages already. ![]() Last edited by majl; 07-29-2013 at 05:03 PM. |

Oh yeah. To all things Dario, nothing exceeds like excess.
![]() Reply edited in here as I don't wish to distract from the visual stream of eye candy that is the work of Dario's bike creations. Quote:

@majl
Can we get more shots of your bike? Rear 3/4 is such a tease. |

@rallizes - I don't think I've ever seen that paint scheme - very cool. @profkrispy - a couple of years ago, one of the shops local to me had a BLE in my size in that same paint scheme - beautiful. I knew that I would never generate enough power to get the most out of that frame though. ![]() Last edited by majl; 07-30-2013 at 12:08 AM. |
