Grandis - a family owned 90 year old frame builder. One of the oldest frame builders in the world and still under the same families control. It's the second oldest continuously operated and family owned bicycle company in the world.

hell yeah... and i have almost narrowed him for the next all-road build. My first chat with him had a very good vibe.

It is truly a combination of art and function. I feel like the cosmos is going to lead me to have a bike that Julie either builds or decorates. Right now I'm contemplating a BIXXIS as the next metal bike I commit to and I haven't gotten far enough along to really ask about some form of collaboration. Then again, there's something really appealing to me of having one person do pretty much everything in terms of the build.

ciclibarco.com: Barco in Veneto, Italy. They've made bikes for other badges forever; doing their own work, under the Barco name, now.

TET Cycles in Iowa is perma-closed as the owner passed away a handful of years ago.

One to add is Jeff Bock in Ames IA. He had built lugged and fillet frames, forks and racks since the 70s, paints in house, handles restorations, and holds frame building classes too.

Wow, to my point in the Kirk thread about impossibly detailed lugs, this stuff is amazing. Not really my bag, but simply incredible craftsmanship.
