Just noticed the dove outline in the seat tube lug. Awesome subtle touch. That is a beautiful frameset.

Have you had any thoughts yet about which wheels to run with this bike? I think Shimano wheels could work really well with this build to keep it as Japanese as possible.

Thank you! The Columbus Cento tubeset was a limited edition tubeset that was available to all/most? builders and not proprietary to Cherubim

I ideally would like to keep it Japanese but the Shimano wheels look too boring, especially for the price that the Dura Ace ones command. I was thinking of maybe going with a set of Silver White Industries or Chris King hubs to match the chrome chainstay or the Black&Gold CK hubs to continue with the gold theme.

The dream would have been a wheelset with Gokiso hubs but I think that will remain as a dream.

I really like the Fizik stems, and they work beautifully with the BarFly direct mounts: https://barflybike.com/products/bar-fly-prime-direct-1

What a beautiful frameset. Enjoy the process and new ride day!

The rear flatmount is interesting- I dont remember seeing that from other builders.

Love the seatstay bridge.

The internal rear brake hose routing is neat too.

The seat lug cutout of the Columbus Dove is amazing - I love it!

Why is the FM bracket so raised up? Is it because weve gotten so used to giant chainstays that are one inch deep and the cherubim has thrown us for a loop by having these slender chainstays?!

Gorgeous and unique. I love it.
