Serotta Colorado III - Super small

My daughter has no idea how lucky she is. She started riding pretty seriously this year and has really jumped in track, cross, and road racing. We were having a pretty tough time finding a reasonable road bike for her since she's tiny. Well this thing popped up on FB marketplace three blocks away from our house! I jumped on it. It appears to be a custom build at around 45cm and pink paint scheme. I'm only sad that she's growing so fast and will likely outgrow it soon.

Great find…….what’s the chances you find it a few blocks from your house.

And I have to admit that I’m jealous of the fact that you can stand outside in bare feet…….

Are those 650b? MIL wants to try road cycling, but she's extremely small - 5' - and I was shocked at how slim the pickings are for anyone below 5'3"

No those are full 700c. But yah, it's very hard to find stuff for smaller riders. Try finding a track bike!

ooh cool. Found my vertically challenged wife a 46cm one with 650 wheels. Now if I could only get her to ride it!

BTW, I love the confident look on that sweet girls face! What a great bike to start on and how lucky she is to have such a nice rig to start on. Congrats.

You should see her ride cross. That's her thing (Bright yellow helmet).

Fantastic thread and looking at the jump/dismount/ bunny hop barriers you’re somewhere near/in Connecticut.Yeah not walking round in shorts and no shoes in February ,but finding the bike 3 blocks away that is radiating good vibes like a Keith Haring painting
